Elliott Bay Marina, Seattle, Washington — IMFS supplied seven new concrete floating breakwater sections for the January 2020 replacement of the marina’s breakwater system. Spanning approximately 1,000 linear feet, the interconnected concrete units provide renewed wave protection and long-term durability. The largest sections were 10 feet deep and weighed up to one million pounds. The breakwater ties into existing 38-foot fingers on the inside, with the outside serving transient moorage for vessels up to 300 feet.
