IMFS Wave Attenuators (Breakwaters) are engineered to provide effective wave attenuation and long-term protection in demanding marine environments. Manufactured from structurally reinforced concrete, each unit is monolithically cast and custom designed in length, width, depth, and freeboard to suit the specific wave load, site conditions, and operational requirements of the project. Designed to reduce wave energy and create calmer protected water, IMFS breakwaters help protect marina infrastructure, vessels, and shoreline assets while improving safety and usability within the basin. Their robust concrete construction ensures exceptional durability, structural stability, low maintenance, and reliable long-term performance. IMFS has built breakwater sections as large as 50 feet wide by 130 feet long by 10 feet deep, with unit weights of up to 1,000 tonnes empty and 2,000 tonnes fully ballasted.
